My (new to me) '05 F430 has 9500 miles and the next required maintenance isn't until 15K miles. So, I fully anticipate I'll need to take it somewhere well before then for an "annual checkup". I'm north of Pittsburgh, PA so the closest authorized dealer is 2.5 hours away in Columbus, OH. I'm looking for a place closer that I can feel good about driving to, rather than feel compelled to hire a transport service to take it to Columbus. Any suggestions? Anybody know/have experience with George Riggin Specialty Auto?

    Thanks,
    Dale

Thanks, but too far. There are two Ferrari dealerships closer. I'm really looking for somebody within a 2-hours drive max. George Riggin Specialty Auto is supposed to be the local go-to guy, and I have an appointment to meet him on the 10th (with my car, of course) to do a PPI (in this case - a POST purchase inspection). But, would be nice to have alternatives, if needed. I suppose I will end up hauling the car to the dealership in Columbus when it's due for its 15K mile service.

Elad - First off I would like to give a very hearty endorsement for Jim McGee at Pocono Sportscar. Not only is he an excellent mechanic, he is also one helluva nice guy. But I understand your desire to have someone closer to home.

Growing up in Beaver County I understand the dearth of sportscars and related shops in the area. I can't offer any advice on anyone local but you could ask a couple members by PM here. I know that "Singletrack" and "ago car nut" are in the Pittsburgh area and may have a suggestion for a local independent.

    Good Luck

    Curtis

Also - about three and half hours away is Competizione in Gaithersburg Maryland. It is a longer drive but you can travel over some awesome roads on the way there! Richard and Fernando will take very good care of you as well.
