I was told the allotment they have was sold out before they opened the doors - anyone confirm?
Honestly I didn't think there would be a market considering the taxes, but it's nice to see some progress. Dealership looks beautiful! Erik

Mazal Tov,
When I was in Israel, I could not import a Testarossa or similar F car. The reason being was two-fold - no licensed dealer and the car was not yet 30 years old. If they had a dealer, I would have been permitted, to import the car. They do have a licensed P dealer, in Ramat Hasharon. You can also import a restricted collector car, if it is 30 years old. With any 30 year old collector car, you do not have to have a licensed dealer in the country. _______ Guess what ? AFAIK, the importation tax, should be at least 127% . Yes, the car, is significantly cheaper than the tax. Perhaps it is even more ?Motorcycles are stupid expensive. How about around $30,000, for a 1000 sport motorcycle ! |

Sad to see I missed the opening, since I was in TA for a few weeks in March. Where is the dealership? I typically stay near Shenkin when I visit. Hopefully I'll be back next year!

Mazel Tov!
I can now make "Alliah." I wonder what the cost of a 458 is out the door. Do I even dare ask?

Glad to hear you'll be making aliyah. Was it a rigorous process? Every time I mention it to my friends in TA they act like I'm nuts. They always ask why I'd want to live in Israel. |

The dealership is in Tel Aviv.
Yes the 308 looks like a toy next to the 458 :-). The cost of the 458 is more than $500K inc. taxes. Many cars were sold before the opening...Maybe beginners luck :-). And about living in Israel... The best place for me to live in... |

Yes, but what's the address? I know Tel Aviv well and have spent much time there. I would love to see the Ferrari dealership next time I visit.
I love Israel. I always miss it so much when I return to the US. Hopefully I will be able to expand my business to include development and manufacturing in Tel Aviv. |

In addition, they have quite a few small hi-tech cottage industries, that can handle small orders. |

Yes, I know. Not to mention some of the most creative people I've ever met. My company handles delta-sigma based data acquisition and we're looking to port our technology over to medical instrumentation. Israel seems like the perfect place for this.

Just wondering how much a Ferrari is in Israel. Let's take a 458 with a window sticker of $275,000 USD. Also I heard the roads around Tel Aviv aren't so great. Is there any part of town to "let it out?"
