Since the main spotter's thread is getting old and long, without a proper title, I figured now is as good of a time as any to begin anew... Still cold, so picking's are slim, but, I saw a very nice and clean 993 (911) cabriolet, slate gray with a gray top on Farnam parked between 10th and 11th about 20 minutes ago.
NO! We are trying to set a record with the other thread! Then again, we have no chance running up against the 'bikini' thread.. And, get it right: it is Oma-freaking-ha NE.
Need to get a camera in the car again. Yesterdays spot: Blue Bentley CGT sitting at Spezia on 72nd around 5:45pm.
HA, well, maybe it'll spark other discussions since we won't see many nice cars for a bit. Soooo, speaking of the snow, WTF happened? A major band south and east through Bellevue and Council Bluffs, but nothing in downtown, and, from what my wife tells me, nothing at her work in west O. Very odd. Kennedy was shut down for a while, and police decided to respond to injury accidents only. About half an inch at my place in CB.
A guy I work with drives a Boxster EVERY DAY, rain, snow or shine. He spent about $2,000 on snow tires. There is another guy that drives his 911 nearly every day.
Actually, I've always been more interested in knowing who the "coworker" is that drives the W8 Passat...that is a far rarer site than a 911 or Boxster. There is a "coworker" that works at our mountain office who drives a Maserati Quattroporte...or so I'm told.
The VW - at my office or the one you worked at? Either way I can find out, and I can find out about the one at the Mountain office as well.
It's still there. I know nothing about those cars because it's a VW, I thought there might be more than one. That comes back to the same discussion we have when people ask 'should I buy a Corvette or a Ferrari?': It depends on if you want to turn heads or not.
