Dear Mods, Would you please consider making this thread a "sticky" in the hope that we can gather together and embrace the few of us around the world (30 to 40) that drive these unique Valeo enhanced Ferrari Mondials + the singular Agnelli F40 ? Since there is really such a limited number of us, we could proudly show our pictures, tell our stories and, well, you get it burp - it's New Years Eve Here's wishing you all a Peaceful, Healthy and Happy NEW YEAR - - Cheers, Hank
This must have been the first Ferrari to ever be equipped with the Valeo clutch system. Look at the date -1989. The Valeo Electronic clutch offered as an option in the Mondial t, didn't even show up untill late 92. Gianni's F40 was quite the "test mule" !! http://www.finecars.cc/en/detail/car/22543/index.html Cheers, Hank
Thanks for the link. Interesting write -up. I wonder in what years the Lancia Valeo rally cars won thier championships. Those systems must have taken a real beating. That was serious testing. George
Did a little research this afternoon. I think the years were 1990 & 1991. These are some pics. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes mods. make this a stickie. I hope to be in the list someday. BTW, EUR 400.000 - EUR 480.000 AUCTION RESULTS: Lot was Sold at a price of EUR 418.000....feel that's a good price on a more historic car....sure purists would insist on clutch but, I would feel this car would be great on a track. Anyone own a Euro COUP Valeo....I know FNA only received cabriolets ...

Happy Thanksgiving, 09 to all, I'm bumping this up due to interest (albeit, limited - found this very good article and would like to share it with the rest of our Valeo fans. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4519537 Cheers, Hank
Strange that it has the same mileage reported as when Wade saw it on eBay a year ago. And that was when it was in New Jersey.
Hank, I recently bought a 93 Mondial T valeo, pictures are in another thread. S/N 95924 shipped up from Texas. Do you know how many valeo owners are on this site?
