Does anyone have the breakdown of Mondials by year/color? I've found lots of threads on production numbers; however, none on color breakdown. I'm just curious what colors are rare versus common.
Hi My car is registered 01-08-1983 Mondial QV RHD Chassis number 46521> Does not tally with the above information. Why? Regards dandpl
Have you looked through the http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/mondial/12078-mondial-registry.html thread? Loads of info there...
Just so you can update the post, I have a 1985 QV coupe in right hand drive that is chassis 57799. I believe it is one of the last made.
I think the chassis/serial numbers aren't quite right. My '83 QV is #48037. Keith Bluemel's book on V8's has the chassis number ranges listed. I'll post them later.
My 85 QV coupe was built in September with number 58687. This number is in the range given for QV cabs.
Thanks, Dave. Mr. Bluemel is a Ferrari legend! His V8 book is a must-have for every enthusiast. It's not only Ferrari prices that have gone up, the book has appreciated too! Kind regards, Nuno.
