OK fellas. Here we go--- Mondipalooza 2013. We're going to have a great time. Tentative dates Saturday June 29th to Tuesday July 2nd 2013. How does that work for everyone?

By the way, anyone else like this pic for our logo as much as I do, courtesy of DionB from the Netherlands?

Let's commit to the dates. So excited. In honor of Ferrari, and specifically the Mondial, there will be a red and red party as well. Fine red wines and red (medium rare) steaks! Salmon will be the non-meat red option. Good times ahead!

That's fine. If you have to cut out early, no problem. There really is a lot to do around here. Hershey Park alone is a full day. And it's best not to go over the weekend, unless you like 1-2 hr lines for rollercoasters. The Hershey Spa is best enjoyed over a minimum of a half day. You get to work out, swim in the indoor pool, have teas and Hershey kisses, then get a massage, facial, manicure or whatever. Golf is another half day. Plus there's still drives to go on, museums to see, microbreweries and racetracks and casinos to experience. Many people are coming from a great distance, and I think four days is the minimum to maximize the entire experience, given the travel involved for so many. Anyone who wants to stay longer, feel free. Or, people can come in on Friday June 28th and go to the park on that day. After Mondipalooza, I'll probably take the Mondial to the beach for the 4th. I enjoy the beach a lot in July. The party can just move east to Atlantic City, Ocena City NJ, or Ocean City MD, or the outer banks, etc. for the 4th if people are interested. On the 3rd, some may want to see the Philadelphia Art Museum, the Liberty Bell and Independence Mall in Philly. We can even make a cheesesteak run to the big three - Pat's, Geno's, and Jim's in the Mondial's! Lots to do. I want everyone and their families to have the best times of their lives. Just my $0.02.

Personally, we also will head to the beach for the 4th, as we often do each year. My date pinpoint was just a suggestion for those who cant stay that long and to get people talking. We will plan for 10 days, 3 days in PA and the rest of the week at the beach.

I'd like to see one of the early cars in the graphic to be inclusive but it's not a big deal. We had some good graphics in the other thread, one with a long line of cars in review.

Chris, you have to come! Joe Zaff has been going through some serious Mondial withdrawl! He starts to salivate and gets giddy everytime he sees me and my Mondial. Just come for the weekend. It's an hour away for you! You've got to make it happen. Please!

Ok folks, the board of directors are suggesting an Event Date of: (Saturday June 29 - Tuesday July 2nd in 2013).

Jay is putting together events for us for the 4 days. We can meet starting that Saturday to allow time for folks to get situated that are flying/driving in Friday for the event. Stay for the whole 4 days if you can or just the weekend. I know everyone here on this thread is excited! Hank (SpiderTopman), you need to try and make it buddy, lots of people want to meet you! Also Daniel from RicambiAmerica, you are most welcomed to join us also and bring some goodies along and write your trip off as a business expense!

    Cheers to all!

    Jay,

Do you have enough room in front of your home for an RV? or, is there a nearby RV park?

As Mondipalooza picks up traction... Just a thought, it would be so cool to have one or a few car magazine writers present to showcase these beautiful cars and the great people who own them in an upcoming article! This would do wonders for the Mondial brand wouldn't it! i.e. (Forza, Hemmings Sports and Exotic Car, Ferrari World, Cavallino)

That looks beautiful, but I'm not driving a 10 ton RV, with trailer, on that manicured lawn. I'll find a nice RV park nearby

I'm not sure we would go that route, but my options are:

    - Purchase an RV and tow the Mondial in a trailer behind. I've always wanted one so this is a good excuse

    - fly my wife and twins in, drive out with my 7 year old

    - fly my mother In law up from Puerto Rico to watch our twins and drive out with my wife and 7 year old.

I've got plenty of time to decide

    Looking forward to this!
