I just got word from the seller that my funds cleared and I am officially the owner of a Mondial Coupe I missed buying 10 yrs ago when it was for sale at Tillack. I found the current (he is the second owner) on FChat and we started talking about my buying his Mondial almost two years ago. Well today it's official and unfortunately I have to wait for Intercity to pick up the car and ship it to Massachusetts. With Pebble Beach happening soon they are not able to pick the car up until sometime mid-August. Oh well I waited this long whats another month... I still had the ones when the car was for sale 10+ yrs ago. I'm psyched!

Wow! That's a nice & refreshing colour you don't see on 3.2's that often.

Good luck with her, you waited a long time for her!

    The official color is Marrone.

My Mondial will have some good company in my garage...(all driver quality, I gave up on chasing concours years ago) I bought the 308GTSQV from the original owner this Spring, I bought the red 911 Cab from the second owner this past winter and I have owned "Kermit" for going on 6 years now. Sorry for going sideways, I have no idea how to fix...

I know you'll enjoy the Mondial. Great color combo! Speaking of color, I was initially wondering which car was Kermit ... until it became sort of apparent!
BTW: where did you take that pic w/ the dozen or so Mondials? Quite striking.

The previous owner sent me the photo with the dozen Mondials he is from the SFBay area and I assume it was at a FCA event.

The 3.2 is a wonderful Mondial. I think it is the perfect Ferrari. The right combination of old school appeal (gated shifter, manual steering, no ABS) with the best style of the bunch. What many consider the most dependable engine without too much electronic snafus. All the best!

Totally remember that car from Tillack's ad years ago - marrone sure makes an impression. Beautiful car, even sweeter to get it the second time around. Have fun with it!

Another member of the '86 coupe club! Can't be too many of us out there since I think I remember reading less than 40 coupes were sent to US that year?

I am in the same boat- waiting for my Rosso Corsa Mondial Cab to get picked up in Cali and come home next week. Arghhhhh

I love the colour. Recently there was a Wheeler Dealer I think that showed a car from the 70/8-s of a similar colour . They debated and in the end, they agreed that the colour was perfect.

I remember seeing that colour in the 80s at an FCA event ( my father had a Mondial among others) and thinking why would anyone get a brown Ferrari? But it is splendid for the ages.

BTW you are not afraid of the 80s or orphan colours,eh? You have my admiration. Nice stable.

Yes, Marrone is a great color for the Mondial. It's also one of the favorites in the 365 GT4 2+2/400/400i/412 crowd.

So regarding "Kermit". Is that a 1974 911 (base)? What color interior/
