all, you may be aware I have my engine out at the moment. My larger heat shields look pretty rough and holes around the bolts have grown to the point they don't provide any support. Thankfully, the starter heat shield is ok. They all look to be made up of two sheets of thin ali with a suspect white substance between. Has anyone made their own? I was thinking of two sheets of ali riveted together with a small air gap between. Thanks.
Yep your old ones look identical to mine. New ones look really tidy. Its important to get these larger items as good as possible as they will contribute massively to the overall look. Great work.
