Hank's got me thinking about the monocolor Mondials with painted front spoilers, mirrors, and side panels. I've seen a few Ts done like Hank's Rachel but never a 3.2 so here are some shots.

I wasn't a big fan at first with the idea of changing an already sweet design, but the idea is really growing on me. I like it, see what you've start Hank!

    Cheers,

    Mike

Ah, that is alot of giallo fly real estate. It doesn't look too bad, I think if you had some skinnier rims, it would look better.

Good call, it doesn't look as good on the QV. Best on the T cabrio for sure, the 3.2 would be second, I'm on the fence but here's 2 more that is convincing.

Bell, I must say that your little black trim lines for your body color bumpers, are quite nicely thought out and applied. Your approach is easily my favorite of any pre 3.2 personal bumper mods that I've seen so far. Funny how your simple black line is almost like a "face lift" designed to make one look younger, without it being obvious Well, Bell - it worked!!!

I would like to vote that you leaving is as it is. You were spot on, back then - nothing's changed. It is simply - you. Need I say more? :):)

    Cheers mate,

    Hank

The mono look adds $20k to the look of the car.

Bell, I think because the QV does not have a middle grille as part of the front bumper, all of the red in the bumper shows really thick. The middle grille is on the T and 3.2, that's why IMO the monocolor works much better on those cars. Here is a before and after of your car mate.

    Cheers

I did the front bumper on my 83 QV, and I liked it. I'm going to do the rear bumper and the mirrors later this year. I don't think I'll do the rocker panels though.

Im on the fence. It all seems to depend on wheel/tire combo. Both looks still work, I do agree the QV's lines are not as smooth as the 3.2 or T model.

There's one "color" that's been monochromatic throughout the model range... Black! ;)

Cheater!!! Good point Wade but technically, its still not. Has to be painted the same body color to count, mat black spoilers are not painted Ferrari Nero!

    Cheers

btw, this is the cleanest 3.2 Nero Mondial I've ever seen, looks like it was stored in a time capsule! Simply Gorgeous ! :) :) :)

Boy, that is a gorgeous shape.

Beside liking my privacy, I love the shape of my Mondial with her top up. It's such a great look.

    Cheers,
