After a couple of months my black/red '88 Mondial Coupe has arrived! The car was a little dirty after the trip across the country (Burnaby, BC, Canada to South Carolina) so she got a bath and fresh wax this morning. 42,101 miles and she is a sweet runner. This car (you may remember from the classifieds) has the Tarox brake upgrade as well as a very nice HID headlight modification. She needs new shoes (Michelin Pilot Sports are on order) since I never drive on tires older than 7 or 8 years old. Other than that, she is ready to park in the FCA parking jamboree for the Hilton Head Island Concours Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very sharp car, great color combination and that stance looks just right. Congratulations, a good time of year for driving this car in SC I think.
Beautiful Coupe Bill, congrats, great year as well 88 Enjoy her and hope to see more postings. Cheers -Mike
The red interior is awesome would look great as a cabriolet. Has anyone ever seen a red on black cab?

Bill It was a pleasure doing business with you.I'm glad that your happy with the car.I hope its everything i said it was.May it give you many years of joy and drive it in good health. Michael
Bill I still wish you could of came up to Canada and drove the car back and saved the shipping, and we could of met in person.I,m sure you would of had no problems making the 3000k trip.
She is hot, Bill! Could you place some pics of her bulbs (headlight)? Wise desicion not to drive on old rubber. I gave my Cinderella also some new shoes.
I dont know who did the HID headlight modifictation .But i will say this that at night it was a great update and you could see about 200 feet ahead no problem. It does have a black box added for each head light.
Will take pictures tonight. Tires are a big issue for me. I can't believe the number of people driving Ferraris on tires that are just ticking timebombs!

Timeless combination. Is it me or does black age better than red? The red interior makes it. Congrats. Any issues importing from Canada or was it a U.S. spec car/vin to start. Scotts
It was originally a US car. However, since it's over 25 years old it's a moot point. Yes...I did not want red. That's why I have a blue one and a black one.
