    I need to change my battery, but cannot figure out how to open the front hood manually.

    Any suggestions?

    Remove the passenger side front wheel, then remove the panel in the wheel well to change the battery.

    The front hood can be opened with a manual pull cord under the steering wheel.

    There are a few good posts with photos on this topic here on Fchat.

    Darryl, on my Mondial 8 I changed the battery from up top (under the hood). But for my 3.2 it's always been through the left front wheel well like Jonathan said.

    Yes, great thread with pictures posted by Mike regarding the actual removal & replacement of the battery.

    However, since my battery is dead, I needed to open the front hood manually.
