    I'm interested in this as well. Although I've read about it previously I'm not at my resources.

    By the way, and O/T, do you ever see a green TR8 in your area?

    They may vary country to country but I doubt if they are magnesium, all that I have seen are aluminium and they weigh a ton, mag wheels are seriously light.
    You could take a scraping from the inside and see if it burns, only a little sample from the back of a spoke edge.

    I don't, but I had a mint yellow tr6 with 30k miles and original everything, including tires. Lost in Katrina though
