So after hibernating for 6 long months here in PA, I finally decided to go out to the garage and get her going. Charged the battery, turned over the ignition, and she started the first time and is purring right now, just getting a good warmup before I take her on a little ride! Life is good! Love TSL GOOD!

I did the same thing Jay! Took the kids for a ride around town with the top down yesterday as we hit 70f.

I haven't had the top down yet, but I've driven it every day since I got it back from service over the winter. Drove it on 2/26 and 2/27, and started driving it to work again. I sure missed it over the last 4 months.

    Regards,
    Brian

Jay, How great to get out and hear the sound of Mondial behind you. Your car looks spectacular.

I know how you must feel. Due to one thing and another, my Dante has been in my mechanics garage since mid December. Finally, I get him back on Friday afternoon, just in time for the first outing of my car club. We will be heading from Bergerac, through the vineyards south and east of bordeaux to the Chateaux de la Brede, the castle home of Montesque, one of the great thinkers of the enlightenment. The castle remained in his family until the death of the last relative in 2004 and was preserved as a museum. It still has most of the furnishings passed down through the centuries in the family.

It will be a wonderful trip of 300 or so miles by the end of the day. Of course, this being france, the first objective of the day will be sunday noon dinner in a country inn.

During its time at the garage, we think we have finally fixed the elusive starter problem (I sincerely hope so), the AC, my fog light switch problem (now I can run with fog lights as running lights) and have refinished the leather interior. I am so excited to have it back, as it should now be in top form after a literally a year's worth of work and attention.

Our club is a multi marque club with a wide range of wonderful cars. Dante is a welcomed addition to the club. But due to circumstance and nagging mechanical problems over the last year, I have never been able to bring it to one of our outings. So it will be a special time. I will post pics of the day next week.

Drove mine for the first time in 2 months, yesterday. Started right up and purred along. Since getting it back from SRI, it's such a different car than before. Simply No worries. It's just so perfect now.

They're both purring away here, actually the benz is more of a whispered whistle.

Enjoy the life, viva la Mondial

    Hi T & S,

They are beautiful together in your garage. But because your garage - and mine, are partners in crime, the whispered whistle is as welcomed here at my home as it is at yours.

Last week, I sold Ms Audi to my neighbor. Do you have a clue as to what dynamics are unleashed as a result?? :)

Can't wait to see you folks,

    Hankie

Hank you're just so romantic. ;)

If or rather when I sell Lolito, I'd be proud to have it in your garage, next to Rachel. I am in the market for a Lambo, so maybe. :). I want to be just like Jay

They are both perfect examples. Thanks guys for noticing. Both were just detailed and their skin is satin smooth. It pleases me just to be in their company.

The Smart is 'Rosie Pie' named after my daughter Rosie who has white alabaster skin and red hair, just like the smart. Still waiting on the plate. It has to be mailed to my house in IL then forwarded to NC.

However, I was tempted to go this route. Lol

The lines of this one speaks to me. I know it's not a drivers car and the reviews aren't great, but I like it. Since I'm keeping my Mondial spider, the gallardo coupe makes sense. ... I've never been so bold to own a color like this. Why not

A Lambo color, not to be mistaken. I'm sometimes also attracted to the dark side. I was thinking Diablo or Murcielago. But I decided for now I keep the TR.

Here is one I've been looking at a lot. Since Sera, blue exotics are calling me.

    Ted,
Agree the Gallardo lines are fab as they flow beautifully from the front to the back of the car.
But, you've got to admit the classic looking beast of the Countach is tough to beat.
I love the look of this early one from the back with the huge fender flares, scoops, spoiler, and exhaust.
And you've got to love the vanity plate as well!
Good luck with your search, keep us posted.
    Cheers,
    Greg
