    Hi mate,

Every time I see any Ferrari in the color Prugna, I just go nuts. That "burnt prune" element, just blows my mind !!

    Cheers,
Hank (btw, check my new profile picture)

I was not going to buy another Ferrari, but seeing this baby I had to do it. It is mine now. Next step is to get a set of new TRX tires, fix the AC, and start enjoying it. I love the color and once owned a 412 in this color.

After problems transferring funds, and a mistake signing the title, I now have registration and insurance so I can get the car and drive it home. I am excited like a boy at Christmas. I expect to have to sort out some issues with the car and will post anything of general interest.

I own a 3.2 coupe in this particular color and congratulate you on your exquisite taste! I have developed a conspiracy theory about this color and it is this: ;) They are secret builds! Ferrari neither confirms nor denies these cars are faster then the rest. Only that "Cars of this era vary more one from the other then is now the case."

Its a fun rumor that I promote. Two years and 10,000 miles later its still my daily driver. I live in a mountain area so tires do not last long. I expect my third set will be needed about this time next year. Keep us posted! I am especially interested in whether your oil gets dirty quickly. Mine does. To me this is suspicious of a special build. A so called "loose" build. Vettes were once known for this technique. But I am making up fantasies.

Car is in the hands of my mechanic getting its windows fixed, idle fixed, some old coolant hoses replaced, and getting its AC working again. He found the bad coolant hose but the other issues were already known. He went over it carefully and drove it long enough to find the poor idle issue. He has done excellent work on my previous car so I am confident that my Prugnia baby will be all sorted out soon. I have ordered 308 rims and will fit new tires to replace the 17 year old TRXs on the car. Does anyone want a free set of TRX tires and rims? The tires look great and have nearly new tread but are very old - suitable for a museum car but not a driver.
