    Some states do not require front license plates. You can put whatever you like upfront.

    It's almost sacrilege to put a front plate on a Ferrari :)

    Some PDs don't care if the front plate is missing.

    Others use a missing front plate as a revenue generating exercise.

    In the city that I live in, they will stop and ticket you, if you don't have a plate.

    For my Mondial, I bought one of these: Dynamic Technology Group

    Because the front plate is mounted securely, is mounted low (very low), and sort of projects out from the car body lines, it actually looks ok. And it looks a whole lot better than a $115 ticket.
