    Hi all
This morning I got a call out the blue from the localish (100 miles) dealer wanting to know if I still owned the Mondial 8, if I was considering selling it and did I use them for service.

Anyone else getting these out of the blue calls?
I have never been in contact with the dealer.

Maybe they're diversifying. Some dealers have reduced labor pricing for "classic" Ferraris as well.

I've noticed that a lot of dealers have reduced there service cost on older car. They are tryi g to be more inline with independents.

They just want your business. Either trade in your Mondial (for little money) or pay for service. Ferrari dealer?

I have had this previously with my 360 Spider .... the dealer admitted that they had someone who was looking for a known car ; mine fitted the bill so they were just enquiring ..

its easy money for them ...

That's what happened with my TR. The dealer called me saying he had a serious client for it. The car is sold!

I sheepishly would trade my 8 for a 3 pedal 360 if I was stateside, granted, they'd have to give me $50,000+ for trade-in value ;)

But yes, dealers seem eager to compete with independents because $150>$95 an hour
