Hi folks, I have this little issue - and it's dramatically magnified because I live in Southern California. My issue has to do with A/C. My body temp rises as the sun comes up in the AM So next week, I'll drop Rachel off at Eugenio's. He will address the freon gas leak that is behind my dash. He will find it and he will fix it. "Hot August Nights" will no longer make me wish I stayed home. It's so nice to have that kind of faith in your car's doctor. Cheers, Hank Image Unavailable, Please Login
Jesus! Rachel is absolutely magnificent! You have two of my all time favorite older cars man. Great taste for sure. I need to find a reason to travel out there so I can see them in person. It would be a real pleasure to meet you as well. Ron Frohock
Tell E hello! oh finally taking care of that AC thing are you thinking of selling and making sure you dont have ac "needs charge" haha
She still blows my mind every time I look at her. Bell, those 17s are Speedline Mistrals. They were a dealer option on your side of the pond. On page 297 of this very popular book, is a photo of a Mondial t with these same wheels. Hey Ron, what's next ? Hi Don & Bambi - Will I see you at Edwards AFB in May?? Selling?? - no way. Just can't stand being hot while driving ! Cheers, Hank Image Unavailable, Please Login
A coffee table book to be sure. By the way, it may be disheartening to see your loved one while open for surgery. This was mine a few years ago: . Image Unavailable, Please Login
Maybe I'll just look the other way ............ even though I have ultimate faith in the surgeon. Cheers, Hank
Hey Hank! Wow! She's a real beauty. In the next few months I'll be unveiling my baby. While at the shop, I fell into the "might as wells". "Might as well" put on new rubber and refinish the wheels while they're off. "Might as well" replace the shocks and sensors while the wheels are off", etc, etc. The only thing left to do in the future will be the carpets...I'm really happy with the progress. She'll be a real beauty. Now for a name.......
My t Cabriolet had a Freon leak too. Never got to fix it as someone talked me into selling it. No regrets, as I have a 360 Spider now with a slow leak. There is only a half pound of refrigerant in the system so for $30/year it will be a yearly spring service item.
Good luck with this adventure. A/C is key on the Mondial with the radiator up front and the plumbing coursing through the cabin center. Stay cool!
