My clutch slave problem I had around Christmas turned out to be a clutch master problem. Because my car is an '88 with ABS, finding the clutch master was no small feat....the part eventually being found in Europe! Got the car back yesterday after the new clutch master was installed in addition to the the oil change and 4 wheel alignment that was performed. I have to say the car is running better than ever! It was a vigorous 60+ mile drive home and the car loved every minute of it. These cars truly do respond to being run to over 5k rpm before shifting. Like the wild beast she is, here's my Black Beauty hiding behind some grass at the restaurant where I had lunch. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Michael, She is is doing great. Even pushing 30 years old she still gets the looks Bill
Bill Thats great i'm glad your happy. If you look over the invoice's it's had about three slave cylinders changed over a short time, maybe the master was part of the problem. Michael
Sweet! Good to see you found the issue of the clutch problem. These cars are on the edge of rubber decay. Sooner or later the master clutch cylinder will fail.
