Changed my belts last weekend and saw this printed on the a arm. Can someone decipher? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm guessing: F108G = your chassis type L = left USA = US version (as the SA versions of that timeframe are very similar to US versions) What do I win?
I wonder when or what the difference is between BL and GL. Dennis, I don't recall the service/maintenance records indicating replacement of any suspension components but, given the age of these cars, anything is possible. . Image Unavailable, Please Login
I didn't see anything either, but I remember you saying something in the back was a bit off. You discovered that when you did the alignment. It is what it is. Just trying to find out all I can. 😀
Is there any similar marking on the opposite side A-arm? If you check the SPC, the USA (and presumably SA) and Swiss versions have different rollbars and rollbar bushings than the other versions, so if an entire assembled unit is marked, the marking would reflect that difference. Wade -- What's the print number of the WSM that that page A2 is from (i.e., what's the year published)? If a 2V is "AL, and the first QV is "BL", they could have gotten up to "GL" by the OP's 1988 3.2 -- just a thought...
Yes Steve, from the early WSM (Mondial 8 and QV - 281/83). I was originally looking for the Identification Data for an ABS 328 as I recall they adopted the Mondial's control arms. But your lettering makes more sense since the 328 is F105.
My 1988 3.2 Swiss Mondial with ABS has the following print. CH is mentioned. Image Unavailable, Please Login
