    Hi my car has the original Pioneer stereo, not working I think. How do you switch it on, the volume switch? I twist this but there is not a reassuring click that you would expect to get. Is there an in line fuse?

    I think you push the volume knob to turn it on??

    To turn it on, you turn the volume-dial and should be a click for on/off... Then rotate for volume

    On is 1 push on the volume (left knob), Off another push on the same.
    There is an inline fuse for power (2A) and another one for the memory (0.5A).

    As I said in another thread:

    The Ferrari's of our era were specifically designed to let you know that if you can hear the radio, you need to drop down a gear or two.

    I just like every thing to work on my cars.
    Ok radio works, i think my car has the wrong knobs and they are not allowing full push movement. Next problem aerial is not going up and down.

    Joys of buying a car that has sat a long time.
