I've officially finished all the work I wanted to do on my 1989 Mondial t cab. Now it's time to enjoy it...weather couldn't be better. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A lot of detailing (interior, front compartment, undercarriage, tonneau cover), refurbished 'cheese graters', new aluminum rocker strips, replaced broken parts (B-pillars, switches, etc). New tires, A/C recondition, etc, etc, etc. Pretty much went through all mechanicals and cosmetics to get the car as new as possible.
Not a new tonneau...had the original one cleaned and conditioned by Sandman (leather repair in Toronto). I replaced the Tenax snaps that were broken and sewed/secured the snaps underneath.
Heck, that's probably twice the leg room my GT4 has back there. The seats alone probably have twice the room! Car looks fantastic
Blimey, I wish the rag I have fitted like that. I believe leather was an option on a new car. I think it's the best option too because it can always be re-cond unlike my shrunken venal effort. Hmm, I really need to find someone that can make one after the original pattern. Gawd knows where I'd go to get that done. jeff
