Heya all I have not been on the board for awhile so have missed lots as I read over previous threads and posts. My question is - I remember reading a thread here awhile ago regarding replacement of WUR and interchangability with another vehicle . I think it was a Porsche or Mercedes (usual suspects) Can someone either point me at that thread or advise on a suitable replacement of the WUR Regs Peter
Try a search here using the 10-digit Bosch PN stamped on your WUR (and the 6-digit F PN from your SPC) for prior threads.
Steve 0438 140 133 is the Bosch number No success with the search Damn Looking at the Bosch site they are same as early Porsche 911 with 3 variant engines the 2.7, 2.7S and the 3.0 turbo engine
Not sure this will help or hurt you, but I've got a Bosch application guide that says a euro MondialQV should have a 0438140116 WUR. Is your engine family marked as F105A? Although that same application guide lists some mid-70's Porsche 911 use 0438140033 (not...133) same as the Mondial8 i2V. Perhaps it was previously (mis)replaced? Image Unavailable, Please Login
