Does anyone know this Mondial QV?

This car was owned by a friend of mine from the mid-to-late 1990s. 1984 Mondial QV, Rosso Corsa, tan interior, funky 3-piece Gotti wheels (center lock?). He doesn't remember the name of the person he bought it from or the person he sold it to, but they were both here in Southern California. I'm trying to track down the VIN and thought I'd post here on the slim chance one of you owned the car either before or after my friend and could recognize it by the wheels/location/etc.

And if anyone here currently owns this car, it has an interesting bit of celebrity history that you probably don't know about.
