Seems to work around town speeds but stops on motor way speeds.
If you mean the speedometer always works, but the odometer sometimes doesn't work = has to be a problem in the dash unit. If both the speedometer and odometer don't work together sometimes = could be the dash unit or the sender or the wiring. Which is it?
With that symptom = dash unit needs repair (as the speedometer and odometer use the same signal on the same wire from a single sender).
