In the energy industry, we have the same issue with pronouncing that certain Middle Eastern country as Qatar with a Q or Cutter with a C.

 

I just take the easy way and pronounce it Ferrari. ��

 

For me it's Mon dee al

 

I speak Italian - this is correct

It took me awhile to find an Italian saying Mondial on youtube. Should have just recorded my wife instead.

My Italian Mechanic says it like this

Mon-(like 'money')-dee-(like the letter 'd')-al(like first name "Al")-leh(like how French people pronounce in French 'Le')

Here in Texas, I regularly hear: Mon-Dial (like the dial on a phone).

That would be for Mondiale (like in Spanish "Mundial")
Example World Cup, world war, those are Mondiale
The Ferrari model name is only Mondial.

That's how my Dad used to say it, Sid. But he also decided to pronounce tomato "toe muh toe", so go figure!
