Heya board members Can anyone point me in the right direction to find a blank folding key for the QV Not keen to pay 400-600 dollars as seen on fleabay Peter
Are you sure that QVs came with a folding key? As far as 308/328 go, that I know best, only 328s came with the folding key, so it seems to go with the 3,2 engine... Rgds
Great question; these images are from the QV and 3.2 Owner's Manuals. . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Both my '84 QV cabriolet and my '83 QV coupe came with folding ignition keys. Both are US models if that makes a difference.
Hi I got 1 left, but I have 30 more comming from Italy in the next 2weeks,send me a PM Image Unavailable, Please Login
It started with the Mondial because the ignition switch was located where it could be snapped off with your knee. It was adopted on the other cars later even though there was no reason for them.
PM Sent. Do you also have the straight non-folding black-head door keys too? I am interested in 2 of each. Thanks JAS
Mu US Spec 1985 QV has a pair of Folding Keys. It was Built in July 1984 and registered as a 1985 Model Year.
I need 2+ door keys too. Love it or hate it, I also made my own "fancy" key, this is the one I use, my two folders stay at home: Alden Image Unavailable, Please Login
Still hasn't listed on eBay to date...or I cannot find to date. Anyone been on to see if they have been listed. Peter
There was one listed recently. EDIT: Still there, by the original aftermarket source (see post #8 above). http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-folding-key-TR-Mondial-348-355-512-TR-M-F50-/201793293775?hash=item2efbd14dcf:g:xEoAAOSwpLNX-~I5&vxp=mtr
FWIW, my QV came with this fob from the factory too.. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fobs similar to that are very common. But the ones embossed with the Mondial name are rare indeed. As I recall, that style was referred to as the "Mondial Fob".
Bought the car from the original owner in 1994. I'm the second owner, so I know it came from the factory
Mine came with the 80's Lorioli, but found the matching one to my car. Very happy to add another item to the collection. Best Jurgen Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My 3.2 did not arrive with any original fobs. Luckily, a fellow F-chatter tipped me off to one on eBay similar to this, but including the 3.2 in the embossing.
