Hi Friends, I've started to tabulate all the auction prices for the Mondial. You can view here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HwLElaB8_N_Qip60wjrfzWnzSJGne3dNIWa0UmrGpaw/edit?usp=sharing Feel free to make a copy and do with it as you please. Also, don't hesitate to let me know of correction and/or mistakes. Hope you find this interesting and helpful. Cheers
Great info, thanks for putting together. Lets see how the year tackles out on pricing. I watch eBay almost daily for parts. I can look at tracking auctions there and give you a weekly/monthly recap if want.
Do the numbers include the buyers premium or just the hammer price? Thanks for starting this. Regards, Jerry
I'll work to pull in Starting and Auction sold price (No prem). I'll just watch the auctions and see what makes reserve. Do you need to grant me access to the google doc? Maybe start a 2nd tab? Just let me know. Once I get back up and running (rear window motors and top) we'll need to meet up.
Hi Paully, not sure - but google any of the VINS and it should take you to a link of the auction. I think all of them do not include premium except Barrett-Jackson. Cheers
Excellent. Are you interested in private sales as well? The Mondial t Valeo comes to mind. See attached... Seller name removed for privacy, but he is a member on here and can chime in. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Updated with all Silverstone and Histronics at Brooklands for my chaps across the pond. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HwLElaB8_N_Qip60wjrfzWnzSJGne3dNIWa0UmrGpaw/edit#gid=0 All I can say is it's like a switch was turned on after looking at the data. Take a look at histronics at brooklands, Back in 2012, you hand a no reserve t cab (13,415 miles) - nobody even bid. (not sold) Talk about "not being able to give it away" Then just a short 3 years later, on 6/6/2015 - same auction house - t cab (with 47,500 miles) sold for $53,900 strange market gentlemen...
FYI Paul, the QV cab you have listed "future" @ Historics Brooklands sold for £42k on Saturday. Not sure if that includes the 10% commission or not. Historics at Brooklands - Specialist Classic and Sports Car Auctioneers - Ref 86 1985 Ferrari Mondial Convertible There was also a 3.2 coupe, but looks like it didn't sell. Historics at Brooklands - Specialist Classic and Sports Car Auctioneers - Ref 75 1988 Ferrari Mondial
Thank You Dave - updated!! That is great money, about 50K USD for a QV Cab...it's not a garage queen either with almost 60,000 miles. Very good money - congrats to seller and buyer! I'm thinking some other problem with the other one? Not sell at 28K. Cheers
Thanks for compiling this! I'm in the middle of research / searching for my Mondial purchase, and this is an awesome resource!
