Great video: That's A Man's Corner?HD?SpecTTacular . . 320kph/200mph '... - Thrill On Art
Always felt the Man TT riders had cojones the size of basketballs. Great they continue to run it, but the bikes have gotten so much more powerful and faster that it's teetering on the insane. CW
I've had this one on my fb page for a while, better quality and nice perspective [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofUPQ9rfsNU]ISLE of SPEED 320-Kmh Street Race? ?HD? 200-Mph - ISLE of MAN TT ? ? Lindsey Stirling - Elements - YouTube[/ame]
HAHA this video makes me laugh it is so cool. We are all *****in about how crappy F1 sounds these days, well listen to this video and TURN UP the sound. Also on my FB page. that I had not watched in a while. The suspense of the approaching sound is awesome. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4NdcMELso8]Isle of Man TT 160MPH+ - YouTube[/ame]
and the most chalenging turn I can think of, threading a needle a foot away from stone walls while the suspension bottoms out in the turn [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GiHCL4OlUg]Isle of Man.TT 2010.Bottom of Barregarrow. - YouTube[/ame]
Nope. The right hander at the bottom of Brae Hill. You get airborne at 150-160 (in my day), bike grounds, wiggles, come down three gears and the you turn right in 3rd Gear, with stone walls on both sides. When it's wet it's very dicey, very. Art
You can't just do this. You have to work up to it. Once you're there doesn't seem to be a problem (unless you crash there) Art
Michael Dunlop had the time of his life as he won 4 races and has 11 victories overall at age 25. I watched most of the races on Velocity and have to say the bravery these riders exhibit is profound. In the last race, Dunlop saw that his older brother had crashed but was able to finish and pull out the win. He said afterwards that he just hoped his brother was okay.
This is some of the best footage I've seen: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152292319436743&set=vb.155927831742&type=2&theater Art
The TT is a bit (ca 20 mph) faster, but the Manx is more fun - more interesting machinery and fewer crowds leads to better watching. There's nothing like sitting on a wall 5 feet from some guy going 160+ .... and then talking with him in the paddock after the race.
Art...where would we all be without you? Will you be somewhere at Laguna this weekend? Tell me where so I will make sure I am not there.
