It came out of Japan. Was a tsunami survivor. I will be installing a later model injected Ducat motor.
Cool bikes, but the 1D was always clad in bodywork - SHOW OFF THAT FRAME! I don't see the front "swingarm" - presumably that was in the box or do you need to source that 3rd party / secondary market?

List of work done so far replaced every bearing powder coated the wheels and sub-frames re-anodized the brake carriers and misc zinc plated the front axle and bolts installed a Ductai Monster 800 engine installed NOS Ohlins shocks I will be using the Ducati injection, harness, and computer. The original gauges will be replaced by a custom set. I have a complete build thread going on the Bimota UK forum. Look it up. I acquired a few new Tesi's in the crate when the US importer went under. They are long gone but what magnificent machines. Best of luck with yours.
Congrats. As far as I am concerned, the original Tesi is as significant to motorcycling as the Brough Superior or Vincent Blackshadow. All the best, and stay safe.
