    It is a rebadged Brammo. Polaris bought them a year or so ago.

    It did look familiar and I was surprised to see the Victory name on it.

    To be honest, I haven't been keeping up with the motorcycle industry during the past 5 or so years.

    I like the idea of electric motorcycles. I did a test ride on a zero and actually tried to buy a mission bike before they went belly up. What I don't really understand about this one is the 6 speed transmission. One of the nice things about the electric powertrain is the instant torque and twist and go without worrying about gears. If there is some benefit I just don't understand it. I have many bikes and even race bikes with GP shift patterns, but when I add an electric (currently looking at the zero supermoto) I wouldn't get one with gears.

    Yes, odd about the multi-speed transmission. The LiveWire is a direct-drive.
