    Still very early in the process.

    This has shown up:

    Proposed H.B. No. 5242 REP. CARNEY, 23rd DIST. 'AN ACT REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TO STUDY THE FEASIBILITY OF ELIMINATING ETHANOL IN GASOLINE', to study the feasibility of banning the use of ethanol in gasoline.

    I'm guessing they don't grow a lot of corn in Connecticut.

    Comment: I didn't know we had CA emissions standards here. Then again, I don't buy new cars anymore.

    Here's the text of this bill as I downloaded it today:

    While this doesn't affect our cars, it is worth keeping an eye on this as it could affect the collector car hobby. Also, the "ten years old or older" comments seem to conflict with existing historic/classic property tax rules. I'm curious as to the motivation for this.
