Just a reminder as the times have changed slightly from last year.

Please plan to arrive at the event between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. at the latest if you signed up for the parade with our special Connecticut Children’s Medical Center passengers in order to maintain your parade spot.
Please plan to arrive between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. if you are not in the parade.

I have a question. As this is my first time attending this event. Where do people park when your car isn't part of the show? Is there parking set aside? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

My first choice is the Town Center parking structure near the intersection of South Main Street and Memorial Road. Turn west at this intersection (there is a sign for Town Center Parking) and there is a multilevel parking lot. This puts you a couple of hundred feet from the center of LaSalle Road and all the action. I say first choice because my recollection is that it is not normally open on Sunday but it has been in the past for this great event.

I've also found on street parking but you'll have to walk a bit.

    Enjoy the event !!!

Man! Been up since 4am just watching the damn rain and the radar. It will be held, rain or shine.

It will be tough for us but by the time you folks start heading out, it should be clearing.

The kids from the hospital are expecting us........and if the kids are there, we will be there :)

NWS hourly weather graph shows precipitation potential dropping to 50% at 10AM and 35% at 11AM, and between 30 and 45% thereafter. This is very encouraging... I'll see you there.

Great fun as always and kudos to the staff, police and, of course, the children. A special treat was seeing the spectacular 1957 Ferrari 335S owned by Scuderia N.E. It participated in just about all the major races winning several with P. Collins, Klementaski, Gendebien, Hill, Von Neumann and Ginther behind the wheel. One beautiful, and fast (the owner said he had driven it at 175MPH!) car.

Actually, the misty, cloudy, cool conditions beat many of the sunny years where the temperature hovered in the 90's.

Despite the on-and-off rain yesterday, the event seemed to go off without a hitch! Great job to all of the organizers and anyone that partook in the show this year. Hopefully next year we can get a break in the weather again - it can't be smooth every year I suppose :).

Great shots mulo rampante! Even managed one of my bike, cheers!

Thanks. The bikes are among the more interesting things, IMO.
