Sounds like we have a shot at record turnout. I heard there were over 140 registered as of a couple of days ago, and with the great weather forecast, there should be a lot of late deciders who come. It's the perfect venue for so many great cars.

Can't make it this year. Just did a round trip to the FCA Meet (watched the odometer in the GTC4 roll back to zero) and the car and driver need a rest... ;>)

BTW, if you are out in the Midwest around Cleveland looking for fun, non super-highway routes home take I80 into PA, exit north on route 66 to route 6 through the Allegheny National Forest to 86 east then down route 23 through the Catskills...what a blast.

I'm ready. Had my hands full today but I did at least get the thing strapped down. Maybe one year I can at least drive it there!

I visited this event today and it was very cool, of course fueled by the most noble cause of supporting our excellent Connecticut Children's Hospital and giving patients/kids rides in sweet Italian cars.

Seeing cars in the flesh is so important to really assess how they make you feel. For example, the Ferrari 456 looks great in person, not flabby like they can in photos. And PK's blue Countach is breathtaking, better IMHO sans wing. In person, you realise that the side windows are really more like roof hatches or sky lights, such is the angle on which they're mounted, closer to the horizontal than vertical.

There was a bloke in, I believe, a Gallardo, coming into the show's parc ferme area (from the kids' drive), revving his motor for the crowd's aural delight. It sounded angry and I was impressed that he didn't launch a rod through the block and into the crowd. I liked, to my surprise, the Testarossa's exhaust note the best. Understated yet exotic but not look-at-me.

I'm most interested in the older stuff, so really dug the rather crusty Daytona, with alligator-cracked old lacquer on the nose, as well as a handsome Maserati Mexico, a sleek as a custom suit on Gianni Agnelli (yes, I'm confusing brand allegiances in my simile). On a more modern note, the yellow Enzo makes a huge statement but if I could have pilfered any car, the gunmetal/oxblood F550 (or 575?) stick would have been it. Drive that off into the sunset...

This show has been transformed by it's move some years back from the State Capital building to West Hartford center, with all the community involvement that creates...and the plethora of great dining choices. Big thanks to the organizers. John.

Always an awesome event, and for an amazing cause. This will likely be my last year attending with my bike being that I'm moving out of CT for the foreseeable future. That said, hopefully I'll be around next year to at least attend as a spectator.

The weather this year, surely beat out last year as well!

I want to thank all the people involved in putting this event together. This year was my first time at the new location for this show. It was a wonderful time. Great job to all the volunteers and to all the owners that drove the kids.
    Thank you again. Wonderful event.

    Cheers,

We wanted to give a big shout out to Karl Fowler of Opus Media, from UK. Opus Media created the incredible 80 lb Ferrari Opus book a few years ago that sold out. For this years Concorso silent auction, Karl donated a Mercedes Petronas Pit Crew Suit, an incredible Prince 21 Nights Opus, that followed the late artist through a 21 night adventure with beautiful photos, and a Tour de France Opus, which chronicled the 2012 winner's (Bradford Wiggins) ride. Oh and lest I forget, a Ferrari cap signed by Michael Schumacher. Karl was personally responsible for over $2,000 raised for the Children's Medical Center. Thanks to Opus Media, Karl Fowler, and a well known and incredible friend and Ferrari enthusiast who quietly does more than most for coordinating this. Thank you Opus!!

Many thanks for a great event.

I'd like to thank those who awarded my car the "2016 Miller Motor Cars - Werner Pfister 'Mister Ferrari' Award". This award recognizes originality and high mileage, something that is refreshing to see in a culture that often celebrates cars that are rarely driven. It means a lot to me.

    Thanks.

I'd have to look, but I think it's presently closing in on 92K miles. I really need to drive it more. That's only about 3000 miles/yr.

    Best,
    Charles

You're welcome. I've tried to identify media coverage, etc after each event over the last few years. This year, the youtube postings are way up. I might have to write a software bot to go and collect this info next year.

Thanks. It's not every day I have lunch with an Enzo driver :)
