Tutto Lite, at the Larz Anderson museum is tomorrow. I will be there. Is anyone else from this site going to be there? Bdel
"Lite" was the operant word ... I drove up from Rhode Island on a whim. First clue was not seeing a single Italian car on the road up there. Very small turnout, and not many F-cars, couple 355s, couple 360s and 430s, couple 3X8, one 599 and one California. Well, two Californias if you count mine parked out on the street. A few Lambos, some nice older Alfas and so forth. But sparsely attended by cars and people, at least when I was there. A shame, it was perfect weather, cool and sunny. I've never made the summer event which I imagine would be much larger, I've gone to a Porsche event there and it was pretty packed.
Vic, why are you parking out on the street? How many other Italian cars were out there? Tutto Lite is really more of an Italian cars and coffee. Tutto Italiano is the premiere event. It attracts 200 Ferraris and a ton of Alfas, Lancias, Fiats, Lambos, Maseratis, etc. and every brand of Italian motorcycle. And hey, you didn't mention my 612 was in attendance!
Dang, must have overlooked yours. Will try to get there next summer. I probably should have pulled into the grounds but the last Porsche event I went to somehow we wound up on the field being judged when we didn't mean to do that and got trapped for a a few hours (wife was not amused), so I just parked at the curb. Did not see any other Italians on the street -- cars or otherwise ; )
Agreed. I went a couple of years ago the first year they introduced Lite after Tutto was pretty much a washout. It was a spectacular sunny, not a cloud in the sky, high 70's day and the turnout was pretty much what you saw on Saturday. Not worth the time nor the effort. I'm surprised they still bother with it.
I went with my 512tr, was an enthusiastic bunch and spent the whole time talking to folks and must have had 30 kids, mums and dads sit in it. Just next to me was a real Abarth 124 spider, that was very cool. Beautiful morning weather wise. Cheers Image Unavailable, Please Login
