Recently decided to get another Ferrari. Got an '81 308 GTSI back in '97, it was a great cruising car, very reliable once I cured a hard starting problem. The engine had been replaced by an unknown shop who changed the fuel pump as well, but neglected to re-install the fuel line check valve, instead they put in a straight thru fitting. The post engine-swap service records made me feel pity for previous owner who suffered through numerous and costly attempts to fix his car. Swapped the 308 for a new Boxster, mistake, 1300 miles later gone for another Lotus. Now looking for either a 328GTS or a 360 Spyder. Lots of valuable insight on both models here, difficult decision. I'll always be a Lotus guy but I need a Ferrari again. If I don't fill the spare garage bay the wife's mini could be there.....Can't have that!

Seen several cars now, 328GTS mostly. Lots on Ebay but wary of Ebay cars. This 328 Ebay car item #251410913901 has the worst 'new Ferrari supplied leather' interior I've ever seen.
Contacted seller about it and told me a well known Ferrari interior specialist stitched and installed it. I responded if Enzo saw it he would never sell them leather again. Does Ferrari supply leather? Surprised he had bids......

You are right that they really did a bad job. The seats I might be able to live with but not the doors being wrinkly. It looked like a resurrected flood car.

Happy hunting... Maybe you need to pull a Monty Python "And now for something completely different" and try the V-12 club.

I have thought of a V12, they really are the best sounding Ferrari. I'd have to sell one of my rentals units to pay for it. Though I could sell my wife, any interest?
