Hello guys! Let me start by introducing myself. I am Justin Bieber, you may have or have not heard of me. I am a singer and a song writer. Anyways enough of the fame stuff and introductions. I am an avid motorcycle and car and Ferrari enthusiast. I am glad I stumbled upon this site specific for Ferrari's as I have an issue with one of mine and I am not too tech/mech savvy with vehicles much but I had a few questions on my vehicle its a Ferrari 458 Italia. Problem; When I start it it starts up fine shifts smooth after warmed up but I noticed recently when I go to drive from park in first gear, that it is delayed when I accelerate like it takes a couple seconds to react? What problems could this be?
Time for the cats. Actually, time for the cats with some real stars and musicians. Justin, just ask your grampa who these guys were. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Justin, this is "Robert Plant". He was the singer in a band called Led Zeppelin. A band is a group of musicians who play their own instruments and (for the most part) write their own songs. Led Zeppelin was a very good band. They were so good that when they played a reunion show 27 years after they disbanded...20 million people requested tickets. I'm sure that you'll get plenty of requests to hum a few bars of your songs...when people drive up to your booth at the local Pick'n'Lick, and you hand them their order of burger and fries. The problem could be that you're a drug-addled, spoiled, prepubescent ******bag who shouldn't be driving a Ferrari in the first place. (A statement which would get me banned if you were, in fact, Justin Bieber, but since you're not Justin Bieber, I think I'm pretty safe).
I think the problem may be that his pants do not allow him to properly manipulate the pedals on the vehicle. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Welcome, man.... It sounds like it's a pressure issue, in the hydraulics, to me. You are let it warm up fully?? If when warm there's a lag in the shifting, I'd say the pressure to the 1/2 solenoid is the problem.. could be low fluid, or a speck of dirt in the orifice. Who do you have servicing the car? It should be covered under the 7/70K warranty....
See? I TOLD you it was dirt in the orifice... OKlahoma is a big red BOWL of dirt...just ask Woody Guthrie! Wait, no....call Arlo Guthrie, he knows the deal......
It is also possible that the headlight fluid is low. Sometimes that causes issues with the transmission line to the clutch. John
