Just found this invite. If I can clear my schedule for Sat. will bring my 599 or Scuderia spider. Enzo is still in for repairs. May only be available to meet and greet for breakfast.
May be stopping by with a friend's Alfa. Not looking to ruffle any feathers, just want to meet individual's in the community.
Great event. Great bunch of cars, and everything was perfect! The weather, the cars, the food!! Best of all we didn't have any 'police trouble' and the only car that didn't make it to the restaurant was the Supra. Thanks again, Steve, we will be seeing you soon!! What a wonderful day! Great meeting up with EVERYONE! Dr. Tax, you were missed. Thanks to all the wives & g/fs who came out! There were about 40 cars at Arena in the morning, about 30 made the trip up to Torches. Only 1 cop in bear mountain. Thanks to Vitally for maintaining civil order. Who woulda thunk? and one cop going South on 84 (I think) while we were headed North. Thankfully, he didn't hassle us. Traffic wasn't too bad, and most fellow motorists were civil. How could you not be seeing 15ish Lambos & 10ish Ferrari ???? Only 1 casualty up (poor Rodger's Supra. Glad it happened so close to home for ya) and one car (me) limped home : I lost 1 or two rear cylinders & the cat overheat lamp kept lighting every 8 miles. Thankfully, Steve found me & followed me back to his shop where it waits for check-out & the a/c needed to be recharged anyway. So on to the pics! I'd also like to say I was very impressed at all the wives/girlfriends that came out for this run. That is so unusual for these runs. shotgun seating was in short supply. it's great to see everyone enjoying themselves. Kudos to all!
Thx for the kudos Clyde.... I can't speak for all the wives/girlfriends/sisters (Marie!) But I thought it was terrifying! It may have been my first .... and last... !! Hahahaa - but still... so much fun
