How about 9:00.
Let's get a list of who wants to meet up at this spot so we can have a nice group to go out. The western Nassau and NJ people can meet up here as well. |

INFORMATION UPDATE
For those attending the ROE.
Looks like great weather. Below are directions to the Montauk Manor. Some of you I know will be meeting up at Browns FIAT of Patchogue. Once you go past the Traffic Circle in the middle of the town of Montauk and are on Edgemere Drive you will see the Montauk Manor sign on your right. Take the right and go up the long drive on your left. If you are spectator, park in the asphalt parking lot on the left that you will see a short drive up the hill. If you are showing your car, proceed further up the drive and go past the main entrance and onto the grass showfield. I or some one else will be there to help you park. We ask that everyone park as close together as possible without risking damage. All people with show cars on the field must stop by the Registration table, whether prepaid or not. All spectators who have prepaid for lunch or wish to buy a lunch also need to stop by the registraion table PLEASE VOTE FOR YOUR CAR OF CHOICE for the concours between 12 and 1! Awards and door prizes are at 1 and lunch at 1:30. Questions? Please respond. Thanks, and see you Saturday!! Sam Directions to Montauk Manor 1.Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 70: County Road 111, Manorville (Sign says "Alternate Route to Montauk"). 2.At the end of the ramp, turn right and proceed south. 3.Drive to the end of 111. The road will curve sharply to the left and will lead you onto Route 27 East (Sunrise Highway). 4.Proceed east on Route 27 for about an hour to an hour-and-a-half into the town of Montauk. 5.Drive into the main business section of Montauk (Route 27 East becomes Main Street in Montauk). On your left you will see the Chase Bank. Turn left at the Chase Bank, go half way around the semi-circle, and make another left onto Edgemere Street. 6.Proceed on Edgemere for one mile. You will see the train station on the left and Montauk Fire Department on the right. Just past the Fire Department, on the right, is our sign for Montauk Manor. Bear right and follow the driveway up the hill. 7.To enter through the main doors, drive past the tennis courts to the front of the building.

Word of warning on the Exit 52 P&R gathering spot...
There is a red light camera at the intersection of the L.I.E. service road (which you'll be on as you exit the highway) and Commack Road. So be alert. You can enter the parking lot from either the Service Road, or turn right on Commack and make an immediate left. Of the two, the Service Road entrance is safer as you don't need to cross over the oncoming lanes on Commack Road. See you there in the morning! I have a couple great 'side' road twisties we can use on the way out there, right along the way. They'll break up the highway monotony nicely! |

Unfortunately I won't be attending today. Unexpected issues at the shop. Very disappointed. Hope everyone enjoys the great weather and the beautiful venue.
Sam...am I able to get a refund of my $40 reg fee? |

Thanks to all who attended. The venue was just perfect and I hope you all had a good time! IF we do another ROE, I would like to have it at Montauk Manor again. The food could have been a bit better, I think. It was the first time here and I would need to do some adjustments. I took very few pics, but many others did, so I am sure we will see some posted soon.
Thanks, again, Sam

Good times!
Sam et. al, you rocked it!
Don't know the deal you made with the big guy upstairs, but what a gorgeous day! Montauk Manor was a beautiful venue; cars great to look at, as always; music, good eats...what more could we ask for? Oh yeah, how about some pictures! |

Major Props to Sam and the Germana family for putting this whole thing together.
Kudos to Ferrari of Long Island and esp. Laura for helping sponsor the event, bringing two cars, and Ferrari wares. It was a nice display. And something about a pretty blonde in a Maserati convertible is just super special. Special thanks to sponsor Bradon - the band was awesome. Just ask Sam's young daughter who was dancing the day away right in front. And thanks to Westbury Fiat, for both being a sponsor and bringing their cars. Ok, Kudos to Randy. Now my pics feel wholly inadequate. But here they are anyway. Sorry for some being a little out of focus.
