    I know it's short notice, but I'll be in NYC tomorrow through Easter Sunday. Staying at the Hotel Chandler @ 12 E 31st street. Never been in this area before.

    Can anyone recommend a good place for breakfast that's within walking distance? Doesn't have to be fancy, just clean with good service.

    Penelope (159 Lexington Ave) - great breakfast spot, you won't be disappointed. Just beware that on some Sat/Sun mornings, the wait can be anywhere from 20-40 min. If you go during the week, you can sit right away...

    Like the breakfast/brunch a lot here.

    Penelope is nice but a little cramped.

    P.S. Maialino is not exactly a 5 min walk but well worth the effort or else its a 5 buck cab ride.
