LIE Blowout tire reimburstment..Nassau

    Earlier this year near Exit 40 in Nassau county I happened into a mine field of serious potholes,
    One of them I managed to hit just right so that the wheel lip punctured the tire.
    the same hole caught the rear tire drivers side as well and breach the sidewall belt but not the rubber...all at 6o mph. I hobbled to the shoulder where it was safe, managed to get away with using the spare in front and the bubbled rear was driveable...

    $1100.00 and 2 new tires later I would like to submit my bill to Nassau county for reimbursement..

    Anyone done this sucessfully before..
