    This well worn 1975 365 GT4 BB NART (never restored?) was the "coolest" (IMO) car at Limerock Park this past Sat. (FCA ESR Track Day)(should have talked to driver but didn't)

    I've learned this car is owned by Bob Coates (Assistant Regional Director at FCA ESR)(hope he doesn't mind the mention).
    From Fchatter 'Entropy' "...He used to give rides with the Special Olympics kids....I drove behind him, sounded nice... I'm sure he'd be happy to share history."

    The car is taken to the track often and driven with great vigor. Really an exceptional piece of real Ferrari racing history and a treat to see. And OMG, what a sound. It really is a joy to see it pounding out miles as Enzo originally intended."

    Oh contraire ... If you go to the Ferrari track events in this region you actually DO see it every day. Bob's been showing up and sometimes blowin' up but always running with that car for a very long time now. I heard he quite a triple set of 360s at pocono in turn one last month when a tire blew. No touchy the wall either!

    Hello everyone, i am a new member here and just saw this thread. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Coates at Lime Rock, and he truly is a gentleman. Here are some photos i shot of his beautiful car, i hope you like them. I will be heading up to Lime Rock for the historics, and would love to meet anyone who will also be there.

    I've run with Bob Coates, his wife Karen, and their BB NART and Daytona at FCA track events since I started in 1992 and have yet to meet any kinder or more devoted and passionate Ferrari enthusiasts, period!
