Sad. Very unfortunate for an 18 year old to die; so young. Feel for his parents.

Horrible. Whatever the circumstances, this is an unfortunate tragedy. Hopefully someone somewhere will learn from this.

    RIP.

Very sad to see a young man with a promising future come to this end. There are multiple lessons to be learned from this unfortunate story.

Driving a high performance car takes more than a license. It's not a video game.

As someone on the news website commented "an 18 y/o driving SOMEONE ELSES Lamborghini as 2:25 in the morning. What could possibly go wrong"?

I hate helmet and seat belt laws but it seems to me driving that way without a seat belt is just playing into Darwins hand.

Very sorry he died but some outcomes are not without reason.

So sad. I agree, need more than a dl and time playing gran tourismo on playstation. I always wear my seatbelt....If anything makes me feel more connected to the car.

Even with all the driving schools I've been to, the one thing that they always say is the moment you loose respect for the car it will come back and bite you. Know the limits of the car....and your own abiliities.

I can only imagine the emotions that were running when he was offered the driver's seat. Put yourself in his position. Overlooking buckling of the seat belt under those conditions is pretty easy to understand. Its just a shame that it cost him his life, but its fortunate no one else was on the road at that time and place.
