Ferrari owners in New York State are likely aware that they are required by law to display a front license plate at all times.

Over the last few weeks week we have sold several of our No Drill quick release front license plate brackets (info below) to NY customers taking delivery of new 488’s.

Carbonio Performance - License Plate Mounts

Based on conversations with these customers it seems that NY dealers are delivering 488’s with a flimsy factory supplied bracket screwed right to the front of bumper or with a cheap sliding type bracket which also needs to screw to the bumper. Either way the front bumper ends up getting damaged.

For 488 buyers who want to preserve the factory finish on their new cars, our No Drill mount is a great option which can be ordered either by contacting us directly or by having your dealer do it before your car is delivered. The chief Canadian Ferrari importer ensures that every new 488 comes with one of No Drill brackets installed.

For customers buying pre-owned please note that we also have applications for the 458, 458 Speciale, and California with new fitments coming shortly.

Just make sure to let your dealer know before they pull out the drill :)

As if getting stopped by the police is not irksome enough, a few customers located in California have told us that they have come back to their parked cars with no front plate and found a 'fix-it' ticket affixed to the windshield. Apparently this is becoming a more common occurrence over there.

One plus of our bracket is that it is so easy to install that it can be kept in the trunk and installed in seconds if you are stopped by the police. The ability to quickly comply on-the spot with the plate display requirement is usually all it takes to get you sent on your way with nothing more than a warning.

In SF, CA we call it the City-visit admission, which is why we stopped going to the city.
