    Careful, it says if you are a no-show you won't be allowed in next year. If you drop out with one, I would make sure they know and have an explanation as to why. See you there.

    Yep. I may not have a choice though. The Fiat's cylinder head is at the machine shop. Blew a valve seat after I sent in the pics. Hoping it's done in time. I will email Heather in advance if it's not.

    We have tentatively scheduled a rain date for Concours for Monday, October 10. This is completely dependent on how the storm tracks.


    We will make a rain date decision and notify you by Thursday, October 6.

    "This year we will pay tribute to cars that were game changers and will acknowledge the 50th Anniversary of the famed 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans Ford Ferrari race. We will also acknowledge the 60th anniversary of Americana Manhasset with a special award from St. Louis Crystal."

    So, picture of Jim Glickenhaus holding crystal award (so he'll be there) + 50th Anniversary of 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans Ford Ferrari race = Jim showing up with his Ford GT40 Mark IV J6 ?
    Can anyone confirm what he's bringing? Personally, I would rather see his just refreshed Ferrari 412P, 0854. His new SCG 003S will debut at the March 2017 Geneva Motor Show, so, that's out this year. Hopefully we'll see that beast next year.

    Interesting. I reached out to Jim a couple of weeks ago and he said he might not make Manhasset at all this year. Hope that isn't the case.

    Latest weather says whatever outer bands of Matthew we get will be between saturday eve and most of Sunday morn.
    Just hope its not steady rain.
