New venue this year! Kontokosta Winery in Greeport. Overlooking the LI Sound. Gourmet lunch as well instead of just cheese and crackers. This will be the best one yet! Please RSVP instead of just showing up. I really need to have an accurate headcount. Thanks!

This one looks to be even better than last year. And last year was great!

Great event for the significant others as well.

I'm very excited that the new GTC4Lusso will be arriving at Ferrari of Long Island just in time for our event. The will be an opportunity to view the vehicle at the showroom and test drive it at Kontokosta Winery! This is an exclusive opportunity being extended by Ferrari of Long Island just for the FCA. I can't wait to drive this beast!

Well aware. The owner is leveling the gravel road for us. It will be in perfect condition on rally day. And it's not like we are driving over it at 100mph.

Just signed up. Staying at a nice B&B on the North Shore next to a town that looks like a Disney set. Don't know why people bother with the Hamptons unless you are somebody to be seen. The wife is even going to like this, major decompression.

I remember when the North Shore was potato farms.

I'm not Ferrari owner but, if the event is open to spectators, I'll come by - Kontokosta is right down the street from my family's beach house in East Marion. It's a great winery but beware that the Driveway is Quite rocky (edit: looks like it's being leveled for you guys - nice!)

Look forward to meeting some of you fellow Fchatters!

Yep, as much as I prefer potato farms to vineyards (and all the traffic they bring), at least the vineyards have kept the NOFO somewhat rural. unfortunately, every year there is less and less open space and more developments...

The driveway will be flattened out for us so no issues.

If you can be there as we are pulling in and can post some pics or a video here, that would be much appreciated.

We should be arriving at around noon.

Rally is on rain or shine. Looks like overnight showers and clearing by rally time. Registration is closed now. We have 55 people and 29 Ferraris attending. Just a few shy from last years vineyard rally.

Please be on time to FoLI tomorrow. Please do NOT park on the service road in front of FoLI. Park in the lot or the overflow lot to the right as you pull in. Only registered participants are invited to breakfast. We must depart by no later than 10:45am. We will hit a good amount of traffic on Sound Ave approaching Harbes Farm in Mattituck as usual. Lunch will be arriving at around 12-12:30pm and again this is only for registered, paid participants. For those with older Ferraris, be sure your coolant is at it's proper level. Pumpkin picking is in full swing now.
For anyone that want to test drive the GTC4Lusso, you must do so before you do your wine tasting.
Also the management at Kontokosta Winery told me that outside alcohol, food, beverages or pets are not permitted.
Cellar tours will be available to those that are interested. It's very cool to see how all this wine is made.
That being said, I'm really looking forward to having a great day on the North Fork of Long Island. See everyone tomorrow at 10am.

Best vineyard rally yet! We had amazing weather despite the forecast. A few no-shows as usual but an amazing turnout nonetheless. Here are some pics.

Steve - apologies but I was on Fire Island in the morning, so didn't arrive at Kontokosta until around 130pm and wasn't able to get video/pics when the group was arriving.

Below are some photos I did take. Thanks for putting this event on - really great!

Thanks Hal. Much appreciated. So glad you were able to attend.

Thanks James. Thanks for posting these pics. I don't think I met you at the event. Please introduce yourself next time. Don't forget this Sunday is the Great Marques Councours at Old Westbury Gardens. I need more Ferraris to be judged if you can make it.
