    It's that time of year again for our annual fall foliage drive up to Bear Mountain. This year we will be meeting the Hudson Valley group at the Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown Heights then rally together up to the summit. Then from there we rally together to Zozo in River Vale, NJ. It's the same location as the previous restaurant we went to the past two years but it changed hands and now is an Italian restaurant. We will be eating lunch and not brunch this year. Please RSVP to my email on the flyer or PM me here on Fchat. I need to know if you are coming solo or with a copilot. Again, we are going to a restaurant, so I need an accurate headcount. Please just don't show up the day of. As soon as we reach 50 people I will cut off the RSVPs or on October 27, which ever comes first. Price per person is $29.95 + tax and gratuity payable at the table. From what I heard we are in for a treat this year as the food is supposed to be incredible.
    The Long Island group will be meeting at Christopher Morley Park in Rosyln right off the Searington Rd exit on the LIE at 9am. We need to leave no later that 9:20am so don't be late!

    Still don't have the F car back, but hopefully today or tomorrow. As of right now im still planning on going, but i will not be joining in on the lunch part. Ill confirm that were definitely joining as soon as i have conformation that ill have the car back in time.

    It is currently snowing at Bear Mountain with a forecast of wintery mix for the morning at least. This leads to the very real probability of the roads being brined or salted. If there is anyone in the area, perhaps they can report on this. We might consider using our daily drivers if there is the possibility of salt reside on Sunday.

    Just checked with the Hudson Valley president. Light snow has been confirmed in the area today but no salt on the roads at ground level. Roads are just wet. We may forgo the ride to the summit then as we don't know if they salted the roads up there.

    Recon report told me that after it snowed in Bear Mountain yesterday it rained. So all fears of any salt have been washed away.
