Does anyone know exactly where in Detroit the checkpoint will be setup?

This is what I was able to find (little link that says bigger map) - http://g.co/maps/d5y73

It does not have the check point but seems to track everything out so my plan was to head down there and see where they are setting up. It looks to be by campus martius park because they get off the highway and do a small loop before getting back on.

If someone has more details I would love to know though

Given the address to GM World Headquarters and having GPS it's hard to tell. Those who've done their homework will find the tunnel. Most will be coming down 401 to Huron Church Rd across the bridge, and (good luck) weaving their way back.

I did not, some of the cars skipped the check point so maybe he was one of them.

They are all parked downtown on the circle in Indy, going out to the 500 today then leave for Kansas City on Monday.

Nice Carl! You caught the Ferrari doing the spinout in the parking lot, as well as the Audi & Lambo with the surfboards on top. I missed that. I also like the fish-eye view of the city. Nicely done!
