To Hell and Brunch July 20th

    OK, here is a new variation on our drives: let's meet at the Lowe's parking lot in New Hudson (just south of I-96 on Milford Road) at 10 AM Sunday July 20th. We'll be driving a bit more than usual, going to Hell (MI) and ending up at Baker's for lunch and for the car show.

    Please have the cars gassed up as we'll only be stopping in Hell for pictures and to shoot the breeze.

    All cars (and bikes) welcome.

    nice ..just might take the bike for a spin that day. Now to decide if I can make the round trip without running out of fuel.

    I'm sure someone has selected an enjoyable highway to Hell for us to go down, does anyone else think it would be amusing to crash the Ford & Mercury Restorers Club of America big annual car show in Chelsea? Between the history and given the rumors of both Ford and Ferrari going back to LeMans, I think a little buzzing of their event would be fun!

    Tasks:
    Update fuel vapor line(s)
    Replace brake hoses
    Install bigger rear bar
    ^^These things are my biggest priorities for the next two days!^^

    Pretty cool. I was by 23 and north territorial this morning and saw a bunch of Pinto's on their was to Hell. Horses in hell 2 days in a row.

    Yep, I saw some stuff in the newspaper that the National Pinto organization was going to Hell today. I would have watched that if it fit in my plans!

    All that's left to do is wash the car and adjust tire pressures in the morning. I'll see everyone there!

    Hey Chris I have video of that spin from the bike view. The gravel in that turn forced me to slow down but when I heard tires squealing I just moved over.

    No it's not posted. I was un-sure if I should put it online but seeing your video and reading the owner of the car is cool with it I will post it. I feel terrible it happened and feel somewhat at fault for slowing so much before that turn.

    Stuff happens man, it's a scary thing for sure. One thing I would be careful about is showing the plates. I blurred them out to protect everyone, so just be aware of that.
