I'm guessing he's a Lawyer ???

....based on where the car is parked in that photo (right next to the Polk County Courthouse)

Nope. Not a bad guess though.

I have to admit I'm not an expert on posting pictures, i will work on it. As far as where he lives, he is pretty low key about what he has. I would not say where or who he was. I respect his privacy. All I can say is that he has garage to die for.

I respect folk's privacy, too.......but, sometimes the "cloak and dagger" mentality seems a bit over-the-top.

Are his initials "C. L." by any chance ?

There is an F40 in Des Moines (pics have already been posted earlier in this thread) ---- owner is here on F-chat as well, but he values his privacy ---- same gentleman used to have a 288 as well, but has recently sold it (he has displayed both cars at the Salisbury Concours in the past) --- you can see pics and info here (go to pages 45 & 46).

I don't know of any other "Super Ferraris" [F40, F50, 288, Enzo] anywhere in Iowa ---- though many have claimed there is an F50 somewhere in the Northeastern part of the state.....

I did a little research on Flickr, and found a Ferrari Testarossa with the banner on the windshield "Midcoast Road Rally." So I went digging and found some videos. Anyone know anything about it? In the videos you can see: Mosler, Diablo, Testarossa, 348, Elise, Viper, and more.

Possible.....I suppose.

There is a Neurosurgeon in Iowa City who reportedly has a helluva car collection ---- including several "significant" Ferraris.

Here you go, yellow Aventador downtown Cedar Rapids. Same owner has the Saleen and 20+ other high end/exotic cars.

Cool --- next time, since you are there anyway, why not take a second to walk around to the back of the car and get a pic showing the plate ?

......not doubting that the photo and claim are not genuine...... I am just saying, when it is sooooo easy to provide good evidence, why not simply do so ?!

But, forgive my ignorance as I am not familiar enough to instantly recognize the skyline / main street layout of Cedar Rapids (that's in Iowa, right ?).....

Not my photo. Owner is a friend of a friend. I've seen the car a few times, so I'll see what I can do about your request. I guess for those of you that don't know, the white building in the background is the Alliant Energy Tower. Photo was taken in the vicinity of 3rd Avenue/6th Street SE.
