I fix a few Astons, not as big a thrill as you might think.

I guess it will be easier now to get their oil filters.

Still a good looking car...... I wouldn't spend my $ on one, but I wouldn't mind seeing a few around.

I'm very pleased with this news. Won't have to ship my car to Denver or Chicago for service, or have a tech fly in as happened on a recent recall. Just need them to pick up the Ferrari franchise next.

As an owner of a DB7 Vantage Volante and and a DB9 Volante, I am pleased to have a franchised dealership in town...although I have a good Independent over here on the east side of the cities that has been very helpful. It will be interesting to hear if they end up with truly competent techs.

I know the guys at Morrie's are trying to pick up Ferrari as well. Again, my indie will be able to handle most of the work on the 550 for me, but always good to have franchised parts and service available.

BTW - although I am still using AM filters on the DB9, I have switched to Ford Racing FL820s for the DB7. Easy to source and much less expensive. Turns out it is a better filter than the AM unit (which is built right here in Bloomington, MN at Donaldson). And all the cars get Mobil 1 0W-40, including the 550.
